06:00 Pick-up from Delhi:
The tour representative will pick up from your hotel or from airport which is located in Gurgaon. From here you will sit in the luxury sedan or SUV. It takes around 3 to 4 hours to cover the distance of 234 kms. Taj Express Hiighway has made this journey very comfortable.
10:30 AM Taj Mahal:
Once you reach Agra the tour representative will meet you and you will be taken for visit to Taj Mahal. This beautiful monument resonates grandeur and love. The Govt approved tour guide will take you around and provide you all the necessary and interesting information about the monument.
11.30 AM Agra Fort:
After seeing Taj Mahal you can proceed to see Agra Fort which is another magnificent monument built by Mughal King Akbar way back in 1565. This sister monument of Taj, is now a museum and holds several items of the bygone era.
13:00 PM Lunch:
Now you can take a short break for lunch. You must try authentic Mughlai food in a well known restaurant in Agra. The flavors and aroma which you get here are not available elsewhere. Agra is also famous for "Petha" an Indian sweet dish which is known for its amazing taste.
14:00 PM Local Shopping:
Proceed for shopping to very famous Kinari Bazar. This is located right behind the Jama Masjid. You can shop for clothing, jewelry, shoes, marble inlay work souvenirs etc in Agra. Other well known shopping areas in Agra are Subhash Bazar, Sadar Bazaar and Shah Market etc.
15:00 PM Mehtab Bagh:
Visit the Mehtab Bagh sunset point. You can omit this site in case you wish to spend more time in shopping. Here you can see reflection of Taj Mahal over Yamuna River during sunset.
16:00 PM Back to Delhi:
Finally, leave back for Delhi where you will be transferred to your hotel or to the airport as per your wish. You will reach Delhi by 19:00 depending on the traffic on the highway.
